Sun-loving grapes grow well in warm places where there is very little wind. Any soil except swampy places is suitable for its growth. Grape varieties with light fruits are not too demanding for a warm growing location than varieties with dark, blue berries. The soil must be thoroughly prepared and fertilized before planting.

For growing grapes, the ideal place would be a slope facing southeast or south. In cold areas, bushes can be planted along a fence located in the south. Grapes are a woody plant from the genus of lianas. Therefore, for its growth, a support system is pre-constructed. It consists of vertical pillars and wires stretched between them.

Planting of grapes is carried out by cuttings: in the southern regions from the end of October to the beginning of March, and in other areas - in the spring.
