How to root grape cuttings correctly

Amateur gardeners, wanting to plant a new variety of grapes they like in their dacha, often wonder: how to root grape cuttings, because this is the most important point on which the success of the entire process will depend in the future. It must be said that there are many ways to root grape cuttings, each of them has its own disadvantages and advantages.
The most common method is cuttings. It is recommended to take woody cuttings from the middle part of a one-year-old shoot. The length of the cutting should be from 25 to 40 cm, it should have at least two buds, but sometimes up to 4 buds may be required.
One of the most obvious methods of rooting can be considered rooting in glassware. It should be started in February-March; this method makes it possible to monitor the condition of the cuttings daily and allows you to timely determine their ability to root, as well as monitor the safety of the eyes. Melt water or rainwater is poured into the bottom of the jar in which the cuttings will be placed; as its amount decreases, water must be added so that its layer is approximately 2.5 cm. The jar with chibouks should be in a warm place (recommended temperature is from 23 to 27 degrees).

You can also use solutions of Epin and succinic acid. It has a great effect, not only on the speed of germination, but also on increasing the plant’s immunity salicylic acid. Aspirin and activated carbon have the same effective effect.
