Vegetable squash

Many gardeners like to grow the squash vegetable on their plot. But oddly enough, the younger generation does not always understand what to do with it and how to cook it!

I would like to immediately note that squash is the same zucchini, only a slightly different shape! Squash fruits may differ from each other! They can be in the shape of a bell or in the shape of a plate, and of course the color range of squash is very multifaceted! It can be yellow (this is the color usually represented by squash), white, or green!

So how to cook squash!

A very simple recipe, I called it “Sacks of Cheese”! And my friend shared this recipe with me!

Ingredients:

  1. Patisson - 2-3 pieces (depending on the number of desired servings and the size of the squash);
  2. Egg - 2 pcs;
  3. Ground black pepper (to taste);
  4. Cheese (any hard variety);
  5. Garlic - 2-3 cloves;
  6. Mayonnaise;
  7. Salt;
  8. Green onion feathers (for the number of squash plates)!

Cooking method:

  1. Wash the squash and cut into rings;
  2. In a separate bowl, beat the eggs and add salt and pepper to taste, mix;
  3. Dip the squash slices in the egg and fry on both sides in a frying pan until fully cooked;
  4. On another plate, grate the cheese, mix it with garlic, previously pressed through a garlic press, and mayonnaise;
  5. Place the cheese mixture on each fried piece of squash and collect it in bags (the main thing is that the squash is still warm, otherwise it may tear);
  6. To keep the bags in place, you can secure them with green onion feathers! (but you can simply lay it out unfolded - suitable as a snack);

Bon appetit!

Patisson is not quite like a zucchini. Zucchini has a more delicate taste, and squash is crispy. This is exactly how I got it in canned form, marinated in slices. Vegetable for everyone. The recipe for “Pouches with Cheese” is interesting, I’ll try to make it.
