Very often, viburnum is affected by the leaf beetle, which can eat all the leaves, leaving only the veins. For this disease, it is worth treating with 0.2% chlorophos. Viburnum can also develop a comma-shaped thyroid gland, to combat which a 0.1% solution of karbofos is used. To prevent the plant from developing powdery mildew or spotting, it must be treated with onion, garlic or tobacco infusion during the season.
