It’s not for nothing that tomato was a favorite delicacy of Louis XIV, because its consumption increases male strength in moments of intimacy.

A little history

Tomatoes "Pink Honey" - the choice of gardeners

The size and quality of the harvest depends on which variety of tomatoes is chosen. To choose the right tomato variety for planting, it is very important to take into account the characteristics of the climate, soil, and the desired qualities of the product.

Of all the tomato varieties, “Pink Honey” is extremely popular among gardeners in the risky farming zone due to its taste and numerous reviews from tomato lovers who consider the “Pink Honey” tomato variety to be one of the most delicious. The fruits are large, pink-fruited, round-heart-shaped, fleshy. The taste is delicate and sweet, ideal for salads.

On the first clusters, the weight of the fruit reaches one and a half kilograms, but since more than two fruits are tied on the cluster, their weight is less. The height of the plant reaches one meter in greenhouse conditions. It is a vigorous plant with little foliage. It is recommended to pinch the shoots that the plant produces to increase the number of fruits. Mid-season ripening is about 111-115 days. Tomatoes “Pink Honey” from the “Siberian Garden” collection are resistant to diseases and cracking.

Usually, when planting, gardeners swap crops for the next year so that the plants do not draw out the same nutrients and the soil does not become depleted. Therefore, “Pink Honey” grows more efficiently after radishes, carrots, leafy vegetables, legumes, garlic, onions, cabbage, leeks, and winter wheat.

It is not recommended to plant tomatoes after vegetables from the nightshade family, eggplants, zucchini, and cucumbers.

Growing methods

In the middle zone, it is recommended to grow these fruits:

  • in a greenhouse;
  • in a greenhouse;
  • in limited containers;
  • with planting in open ground;
  • on straw bales or bags of soil mixture;
  • under temporary shelters.

Since the climate in the northern zones is cold, it is recommended to grow tomatoes using seedlings, this will help eliminate unnecessary risk. Seedlings are planted in sterilized containers.After the seedlings have grown, they are planted in protected soil.

The manufacturer claims that Pink Honey tomatoes are resistant to growing even on saline soils.

An important rule is temperature

Not only Pink Honey tomatoes, but also some other garden crops are very sensitive to heat. If the plant lacks heat, the fruits usually set poorly, in small quantities and have a small mass. The most comfortable temperature for seed germination can be considered twenty-five degrees Celsius. When the temperature drops to 15 degrees Celsius, both fruit set and flowering stop.

After some time the plant will begin to be damaged various diseases. The most unpleasant of them is “late blight”, when already grown large fruits, both ripe and green, become covered with black “rust” on the bottom and become unsuitable for consumption.

When the temperature drops to 10 degrees Celsius, the plant stops growing, and at a temperature of three degrees, most likely it will simply die.

Heat is also harmful to the plant. If the temperature rises above 35 degrees Celsius, the pollination process will stop, and hence fruit set. But Pink Honey tomatoes are considered drought-resistant, so excess moisture can destroy the plant.

Fertilizing correctly means improving the harvest

A very important factor influencing the quantity and quality of fruit ripening is fertilizing. So, if the vegetative system of a plant grows, it means there is an excess of nitrogen fertilizers in the soil. This negatively affects fruit ripening.

On the contrary, if “Pink Honey” tomatoes are fed with potassium and phosphorus, the ripening of the fruits becomes faster and the tomatoes themselves taste better.

Gardeners use special growth stimulants to speed up seed germination. It also has a beneficial effect on resistance to diseases and the growth of good fruit set.

Thus, by choosing the appropriate method of caring for the plant, the necessary fertilizers, the degree of illumination and temperature conditions, gardeners can hope for a good harvest that will delight the whole family.

I love to eat a variety of tomatoes, but Pink Honey tomatoes are the best variety I know! Great for salads, canning, tomato juice or adjika.

A very tasty variety, but no matter how hard we tried to grow it, it didn’t work. Either the fruits were like peas, or just below the fruit a black crown (rotten) formed. But this is the first time I’ve heard that tomatoes are a stimulant in the fight against stress. Very interesting!

Pink tomatoes are my favorite! They are very sweet and grow very large. True, for some reason they crack in our country, but this is not such a problem compared to their advantages.
