• Onion sets must first be washed and then planted in furrows so that there is a distance of 25-30 cm, and between the bulbs themselves 8-10 cm, this depends on the size. Then it is sprinkled with soil, with a heap of 2 cm above the shoulders of the onion;
• Pre-sort the onions by size, planting the largest ones first.
