Daffodils and violets - delicate flowers

Florists who have been growing various types of flowers for a long time are advised to grow a variety of plant varieties, since a well-arranged bouquet of different flowers always costs a little more than selling the same plants separately. Therefore, the best option would be 10-15 plant varieties in one greenhouse.
Daffodils cannot be missed, as their yellow-orange color constantly attracts the attention of buyers. In order to breed this variety in your own greenhouse, you need to know a few rules that will lead you to success. These flowers should be planted in the fall, but only before the first frost occurs. In a greenhouse, frost occurs a little later. Only after the vegetables have been harvested can you start growing flowers.
Your task is to cool the flower bulbs a little before planting them, otherwise the plants will not bloom. Once the bulbs have been well cooled, you can begin planting them. Bulbs should be planted to a depth of no more than 15 centimeters when the air temperature has not dropped below 9 degrees. To prevent the flowers from dying from frost, they need a “blanket” of straw to cover the ground. 4 kg per sq.m will be enough.
In order to flower bulbs well preserved - they need to be kept in a box at a temperature of 7-9 degrees. The room must be well ventilated and dry.

There is another way to grow daffodils. They can be grown in plastic pots, and also stored in the same way at a temperature not exceeding 9 degrees. These types of pots can be placed one on top of the other to save space in your greenhouse.
Violets have always been very popular and expensive. These flowers should be planted from cuttings, which you can purchase at a special store. Remember, violets really don’t like being cramped, so you need to grow them only for variety. The most the best varieties of this plant are considered:
  • "Doctor Faustus"
  • "Cardinale"
  • "Adonis"
Also, these plants can be divided into several groups according to their color and the specific structure of the flowers:
  1. The first group includes single-color flowers, as well as two-color flowers, where there is one eye in the center of each petal. For this group, the following varieties are distinguished: “Doctor Faust” and “Albilura”.
  2. The second group includes violets that have three eyes on their petals. These include the varieties “Cardinal” and “Adonis”.
  3. The third group often includes those varieties of violets that have a brightly colored corolla.
  4. The fourth group includes varieties of violets that have mixed colors.
  5. The fifth group contains violets that have corrugated or wavy petals.
Yes, there are a lot of types of violets. Such plants can be propagated not only by cuttings, but also by seeds. The flower itself is very fond of fertilizers, so it needs to be planted in moist soil that has been previously fertilized.
Remember! Violets do not like crowded spaces, so scatter it not very thickly.
If you want to plant violets cuttings, they must first be prepared for this. Select terminal shoots that have 2-3 nodes. These cuttings usually take root within a month. As for fertilizers, the flowers should be fed with superphosphate and nitrate. Each fertilizer should be applied 25-30 per square meter. At this stage, special care is over. All that remains for you is frequent watering and loosening the soil itself.

Dahlias love shade very much, and roses are expensive flowers!

Roses

Such flowers look very chic and attractive in a combined bouquet, so you should allocate space for growing them in your greenhouse. The flowers themselves can be completely different in color, which is what enchants you when you look at them. Dahlias, just like violets, can be divided into several subgroups:
  • Decorative
  • Globular
  • Chrysanthemum-shaped
The first subspecies produces large double inflorescences, which can be of various shades. Varieties that include: “For Peace”, “Marianna” and “Lakhta”.
The chrysanthemum subgroup also has large flowers, but they bloom with long and curved flowers, wrapped in tubes. For such a subgroup, “White Lady” and “Evening” are distinguished.
Such flowers can be propagated both by seeds and cuttings and root tubers. These plants love it when the soil is well fertilized. For fertilizers, manure is suitable, which needs to be applied 4 kg per planting site. As for mineral fertilizers - ammonium sulfate and the hall need to be applied 8-10 grams, superphosphate - 45 grams. Dahlias are very capricious plants, so they need to be planted in a checkerboard pattern. After this, fertilize the soil with humus or peat.
It is important to know that these flowers love shade, so they need to be planted in a place where there will be minimal exposure to sunlight. In order to solve this problem, special caps are needed, which should be put on dahlias in the afternoon and removed the next day at dawn.
Roses are one of the most expensive flowers. They can be propagated using shoots and grafting. For the first case, you should select the strongest shoots that grow from the side. Plant each shoot in holes, the depth of which should not exceed 8 centimeters. The ends of these shoots should be on the surface constantly, since from each bush that you planted, you can extract 10 shoots, which can be successfully planted in exactly the same way.
The second case is rosehip grafting using “sleeping” eyes. The best time is the end of July. These flowers are good because they can produce their “fruits” for many years in a row, even without replanting.

Asters, peonies and tulips are the easiest to grow

Tulips

Asters can be either annual or perennial plants. The aster's flowers are quite large. There are several best and beautiful varieties, which are “Alpine Aster” and “European Aster”.
Alpine aster is a rather large flower basket of various colors, where the stem reaches 20 centimeters and does not have many leaves. As for the second variety, this is a bush that has a lot of branches with a large number of baskets. This bush can bloom all spring and even summer.
Such flowers are completely unpretentious in their care. For them, it will be enough to fertilize the soil with a small amount of humus and add a little mineral fertilizer. It is important to know that to prepare the soil in your greenhouse for growing such flowers, you will need 7 kg of humus per square meter, 45-50 grams of superphosphate, the same amount of nitrophoska and, of course, wood ash - 600 grams. Then, all this should be dug up very well and covered with a layer of humus of about 2 centimeters.
All that is required of you in caring for peonies is to loosen the soil and do not forget to water these plants. After the peonies begin to grow, they should be fertilized 2 times a month. For fertilizers, a diluted tincture of chicken manure along with mineral fertilizers is well suited.
In order to choose suitable varieties of peonies that will bloom well, you need to remember their names:
  • "Nemesis"
  • "Avalanche"
  • "Kelways Gloris"
In order to grow beautiful and big tulips, you should select only large bulbs. It is these bulbs that will germinate well, and the flowers will be quite large.
Before planting tulips, you first need to thoroughly dig up the soil and fertilize it with wood ash and a minimum amount of minerals. At the end of summer, tulip bulbs should be dug out of open ground, dried thoroughly, and then left in the basement.
In the first month of winter, you should warm up the greenhouse a little so that the air temperature is +2 degrees, and then plant the bulbs. This temperature in the greenhouse should be maintained for two months, after which you should gradually increase it at the end of January. To begin with, raise the temperature to 8 degrees, then to 15 and to 22. As soon as you see green shoots, immediately turn on the artificial light, which should shine for at least 6 hours a day. After such courtship, your first tulips will appear by March 8th.
These types of flowers are completely unpretentious to grow and sell with a bang.
