Varieties of garden strawberries

Garden strawberries are becoming an increasingly popular crop every year, as new varieties are constantly appearing, making it possible to grow them in almost any climate zone and obtain large yields. Increases shelf life and taste. Of course there is no such thing garden strawberry varieties, which would be superior to all others in all respects. Each variety has its own advantages. For example, my favorite variety is called "Mashenka", but bred by Russian breeders. Not only is it productive and winter-hardy, its flowers have the ability to grow together into receptacles and instead of several small berries produce one huge, spindle-shaped one.
"Zenga-Zengana" - strawberry of German selection. This variety produces large wedge-shaped berries of late ripening. "Zenga-Zengana" produces little mustache, which makes its propagation difficult. Strawberry "Lord"bred by English breeders, a late-ripening variety. Produces large, round-conical berries. This variety is self-pollinating and frost-resistant. It can be grown in one place for about 10 years. It is often used for industrial cultivation. One of the most popular varieties in the world is an American selection "Honey". It is characterized by very early and rapid ripening, good taste, and is convenient for transportation.
It should also be noted remontant varieties of garden strawberries, allowing you to harvest 2-3 crops per season. True, many strawberry lovers note that the taste of remontant strawberries is usually worse than regular ones. But this is not for everybody. For example, I don’t see any difference between the taste of regular and remontant strawberries. I grow "Queen Elizabeth", producing large, tasty, round-shaped berries, variety "Geneva" (fruits in June, then in August) and "Moscow delicacy"Of course, these varieties are more prone to freezing, I grow them from seeds every year. And in the same year I get harvests. And if they don’t freeze over the winter, then next year the harvests will be even greater.
