Planting celery root

For many, healthy eating is the basis for a fulfilling existence. That is why we are increasingly growing vegetables and fruits, greens and herbs in our garden beds, which fill the body with all the necessary vitamins and microelements. One such valuable product is celery root.
Planting root celery is quite a painstaking task, requiring certain knowledge and patience. First you need to choose the right soil; it should contain a minimum amount of nitrogen and be rich in humus. First of all, celery seeds are sown, which grow in absolute disorder, while the celery roots themselves develop over the course of 6 months. Sow the seeds in early spring in trays, then picket them at intervals of about 5-7 cm. It is also possible to transplant small plants into separate pots, but they must be planted with half the stem in the soil. Before planting young plants in the ground, they must be hardened at a temperature of 12-15 degrees above zero. In this case, the seedlings can simply be placed in pots on the balcony. In addition, seedlings must be fertilized with mineral fertilizers every two weeks.
Root celery is planted in mid-May, with the plants placed in the soil at intervals of 30-40 cm, rosettes of celery leaves must be placed above the soil. Plant the seedlings in the soil in the afternoon. It is necessary to water seedlings and young plants with a moderate amount of water, promptly weed and loosen the soil, and also feed them with mineral fertilizers and humus.
