Growing dill and parsley does not require special knowledge; greens can be grown not only on the plot, but also in pots. For planting, you need to use fresh seeds, no more than two years old.

Dill

Dill is not afraid of cold weather; it germinates at fairly low temperatures. Before planting, it is advisable to soak dill seeds in warm water, this will stimulate their growth. Dill really needs good lightening. It is advisable not to thicken the crops so that the greens can fully develop.

Parsley

The soil in the area allocated for parsley must be thoroughly fluffed and moistened. Its seeds are very small and do not germinate well on uneven, dry soil. It is important to prevent the appearance of weeds and dry crust. Parsley needs additional fertilizing with organic and mineral fertilizers (2 times during the growing season).

You can plant green seeds in ordinary flower pots (preferably ceramic), using soil mixture as soil. Dill and parsley seeds should be soaked in water, and then allowed to dry and only then planted. After germination, thin out the parsley.Water the greens once every two days, spray them from time to time. In the period from November to February, crops need additional lightening (from 8 am to 12 - 1 pm), from lack of light the plants become lethargic, dill loses its aroma.
