Potato Nevsky - a good choice for a gardener

The importance of potatoes in the human diet is difficult to overestimate, because it is no coincidence that they are called “second bread”. Almost all gardeners in our country grow this vegetable. To increase the yield of potatoes, you need not only favorable weather conditions, proper care, but also the right variety. For our climatic environment, one of the most suitable varieties is the variety called Potato Nevsky. It is characterized by high yield (about 380 - 500 centners per hectare) and resistance to many types of pests. This variety is distinguished by excellent external characteristics - tender, tasty pulp that does not darken after cutting. The fruits are oval-shaped, white with red-violet eyes. Nevsky potatoes have a decent presentation, which, you see, is also quite important when choosing a variety.
The variety is completely undemanding when it comes to soil and moisture; it can bear fruit decently on different soils, while being resistant to both excess moisture and drought.
Nevsky potatoes contain a small amount of starch (within 11-15%), a large amount of vitamin C, and most importantly, have excellent taste.
