Pepper seedlings

Despite the fact that the weather does not indulge us with regular warm days, gardeners have every reason to wonder how to grow pepper seedlings. After all, before you know it, the time will come for active planting of crops such as peppers, cucumbers, tomatoes and zucchini. And here it is not at all advisable to hesitate, so it is better to prepare in advance and clarify all the details of planting peppers.

To grow seedlings you will need seeds. In a specialized store, choose a bag of pepper seeds of the variety that suits you best and suits the climatic conditions of your region.

You also need light soil and individual pots. You can use disposable cups or plastic yogurt cups for the pots. We make sure to make a hole in the bottom and fill the pots with prepared soil, moisten it with water and a small amount of potassium permanganate. In each pot we place 1-2 pepper seeds, previously placed in water for a while. And cover everything with film. Shoots can be expected within 10 days.

Now all that remains is to wait for the seedlings to grow and get stronger. It is imperative to monitor the condition of the soil - do not allow it to dry out. As soon as the peppers acquire a well-developed root system, the seedlings can be transplanted to a permanent location. Under the warm rays of the sun and caring hands, the pepper will soon delight you with a good harvest.

Maybe living in the warm regions of our country it is possible to grow seedlings this way. I live in an area equated to the Far North. We have to plant the seeds in small bowls, after the seedlings are “baptized”, they are planted in larger containers (you can use sour cream cups - 400-500 ml), and only in early June we plant the seedlings in a greenhouse or hotbed, otherwise there will be no peppers.

This is what is written in the article, although without any punditry. Seedlings are grown from seeds in pots, and only then they are moved to open ground. In our warm regions, peppers can also be grown outside a greenhouse.
