Useful properties of blackberries

Unripe blackberries are very similar to raspberries, but when they finally ripen, the difference between these two berries is immediately visible. Blackberries are not as popular among gardeners as raspberries; more often they can be found growing not in the garden, but in the wild. But in vain, because blackberries have many beneficial properties.
What are beneficial properties of blackberries?
1. Eating blackberries strengthens the immune system, increases the overall tone of the body, and stimulates metabolic processes.
2. Like raspberries, blackberries have excellent antipyretic properties. This property is due to the presence of bioflavonoids and antioxidants in the berries. Therefore, for colds, blackberries can replace aspirin tablets to reduce body temperature.
3. Young blackberry leaves have a beneficial effect on people suffering from stomach and duodenal ulcers; their infusions help with poisoning and dysentery, and various diseases of the gastrointestinal tract.

I really like blackberries. It's a pity that it is not very common in our region. But I never deny myself the pleasure of eating these tasty and healthy berries if I suddenly find myself in the places where they grow.
