Sowing nigella onion

Not everyone is able to grow onions from seeds. This is quite painstaking work that requires a lot of effort and time. For sowing onions, nigella is used only 1-2 summer seeds. Onions are planted in the first half of May; Thus, the soil should still be moist, but already slightly warmed up, in order to have time to harvest before the first cold weather. Deadlines sowing nigella onions can be reduced by preparing the seeds in the fall: after gluing them on sheets of paper.

You will need:

If there are signs of the presence of the main enemy of the onion - onion fly, you need to water the garden bed saline solution, otherwise this pest will eat everything down to the roots. In some cases, various pesticides are used.

To prevent onions from getting sick, you need to process them acrobat or ridomil.

If you want to get the seeds of your favorite onion variety, plant it in late autumn and cover it with leaves. Next summer the bow will shoot arrows and you can stock up on seeds for a couple more seasons.
