Salad

Peking and white cabbage are wonderful crops that are often used to make salads. But leaf lettuce has a much more delicate taste. It is used to decorate various dishes and prepare the most delicious salads. If we talk about the taste of this crop, a lot depends on the variety.

Even the simplest salads will take on a luxurious, festive look with the addition of green lettuce leaves. The following types are grown in culture: romaine, leaf, cabbage and half-cabbage. Of course, salad is sold in any store, but it is much more pleasant to use a plant grown by yourself.

To start enjoying fresh salads as early as possible, lettuce seeds should be planted in early spring. During the growing season, the crop must be watered and the soil around the plant loosened. Assemble the salad in one go. Regular planting of seeds every 1-1.5 weeks, starting from the first sowing, will help you obtain greens throughout the warm season.
