Planting tomato seedlings in the ground

Tomato seedlings

My mom just loves tomatoes. But they are not at all like those sold in supermarkets - they have no taste at all, and their structure is more like cotton wool. Another thing is tomatoes grown in your own garden. One has only to walk between the bushes, and with a light touch the foliage emits a unique and easily recognizable aroma. And the tomato itself smells good; holding it in your hands, you feel the strength and juiciness of the fruit.

As far as I can remember, my mother never grew seedlings. She simply bought it at the market early in the morning on the day of her planned trip to the country. Fortunately, during the season, seedlings are sold in huge quantities, you can choose any variety you like, and at the same time evaluate the condition of the young shoots.

My mother's efforts to plant tomato seedlings in the ground occur without any special ceremony. She simply prepares holes in the ground, then waters them well, places a stem of seedlings at each hole, and then sprinkles everything with soil, compacting it tightly at the base of the plant. And again everything is watered. By evening, the seedlings look wilted and it seems that nothing will come of it. But after just a few days, with good watering, you can find strong, upright tomato bushes in the beds, which will need to be tied up very soon.

As it turned out, planting tomato seedlings in the ground does not require any special wisdom. Here it is important to surround the plant with love and provide it with good care. You also need to take care of protecting tomatoes from pests by treating them with special preparations in a timely manner. And after some time, your work will be reflected in the form of a good harvest.
