Aphids on currants, how to get rid of them?

It is difficult to imagine a dacha or estate in Russia, Ukraine, Belarus without currant bushes. Its fruits contain a lot of vitamin C, as well as carotene, vitamins P and B, organic acids, glycosides, flavonoids, pectins, tannins, and minerals. It is not only a tasty berry, but also a healing plant that has a diuretic, diaphoretic and fixative effect. Unfortunately, it is loved not only by people, but also by pests, the main ones of which are bud mites and powdery mildew. If they hit the plant, most likely it will have to be destroyed.
But there are pests that can be controlled using less radical methods. For example, aphids on currants. Of course, you can use chemicals to remove it, but you want the berry to not contain harmful elements. I reason like this. Aphids do not appear on currants on their own. She is bred by ants as a cow (to get milk). Therefore, if there are aphids on the currants, you need to look for an anthill nearby. It is usually located in the roots of the bush. First you need to get rid of the ants. To do this, just pour a bucket of boiling water under the bush in early spring. This will not harm the currants, but the ants will die.
Now all that remains is to clear the bush of the aphids overwintering on it. It is located inside the kidneys, which are easily distinguished by their appearance. They are large and look like beads. We collect these buds and burn them. If this happens in the summer, then you can infuse a kilogram of wood ash, infuse it in a bucket of boiling water and spray the bush. The aphids usually die.You can also spray the currants with red pepper tincture.
