Germination of bean seeds in soil. How to grow beans

bean seed germination

Beans are important in many cuisines around the world, as they are one of the 10 most beneficial foods for human health. Many amateur gardeners grow beans as a complement to other crops.

Germination of bean seeds occurs under certain conditions that must be met in order for the harvest to please the gardener.

Preliminary preparation of bean seeds for sowing involves soaking them in warm water. This is very important during early sowing periods. Germination of bean seeds occurs best if they are placed in gauze bags that are constantly moistened, but not so much that the beans float in the water. The main thing is that the fabric is always damp. Within a few days the seeds will hatch, then they can be planted in the ground.

The seeds are planted to a depth of approximately 3-4 cm, the optimal distance between the rows is 8-10 cm. Under the film, bean seedlings appear together and develop much faster, since a sufficient amount of moisture is retained under it and the soil warms up faster. By the time the plants begin to branch off side shoots (lashes), the film can be completely removed.

Caring for crops is easy. Periodic weeding, loosening and, if necessary, watering are required. During the period of intensive growth, it is advisable to apply liquid fertilizer several times - it all depends on the soil conditions and the amount of fertilizer applied in preparation for sowing.

The harvest is harvested as it ripens.Since bush forms of beans ripen quite quickly, the entire crop can be harvested almost simultaneously.
