Potato variety Zhukovsky early

It is difficult to list all the potato varieties that currently exist thanks to the efforts of breeders. Potatoes of different varieties differ in yield, starch content, resistance to diseases and pests, shelf life, appearance of tubers, ripening time and, of course, taste. A special place among all this abundance is occupied by early potatoes, in particular, the Zhukovsky potato variety, which can be harvested for consumption literally in late June - early July.
The potato variety Zhukovsky has a semi-spreading, medium-height bush with highly branched but few stems and large dark green leaves. This variety blooms very profusely and for a short time, has reddish-purple flowers with white tips, collected in a multi-colored compact inflorescence. A characteristic feature of this variety is the lack of berry formation. Potato tubers are short-oval in shape, have a smooth, beige-pinkish skin with a flat stolon mark.
The Zhukovsky potato has gained enormous popularity among gardeners and has become one of the most common early varieties, primarily due to its sufficient ease of care, resistance to rhizoctonia, potato nematode, scab, and drought resistance. Another undoubted advantage of this variety is its high yield rates, which, moreover, do not depend on soil and climatic conditions. In addition, Zhukovsky potatoes are deservedly considered one of the best in terms of taste.
