Propagation by green cuttings – a technique that guarantees the preservation of the variety and does not require financial or time costs. Using green cuttings cut from root shoots, it is recommended to choose a cloudy day for propagation. The optimal time of year is summer.

Planting material, trimmed to 7-10 cm, is placed in a solution containing a root formation stimulator, for example, heteroauxin, rootin, indolylbutyric acid, growth powder. When preparing an aqueous solution, the growth-stimulating substance is first dissolved in a small amount of alcohol, and then added to a certain volume in water.

For optimal rooting, it is enough to wait 12-15 hours. In this case, the temperature of the solution must be above 18 degrees, otherwise the quality of processing will decrease.Then the raspberry cuttings are carefully planted under the film. Under the film it is necessary to maintain high air humidity, a temperature of about 22-25 degrees.

The film is removed immediately after green young plants appear on the surface. The shoots are protected from direct ultraviolet rays and gusts of wind. The protection is completely removed as soon as the plants become stronger.

Cuttings with a developed system (minimum 3-4 roots), the length of which is 5-10 cm, are transferred with a lump of earth to permanent landing site. “Weak” cuttings are grown within a year.
