White heather and its cultivation

White heather grows up to 25 meters in height. If we consider other varieties of this beautiful plant, they differ from each other in the color of the leaves and inflorescences. Thus, there are heather leaves that have a silver, bronze, brown and red tint.
Goblet-shaped heather flowers are collected in inflorescences of lilac, cherry, crimson, white or pink. If you plant heather in your garden, it will begin to bloom in late July or early August. But one day you will see how the solid green carpet has turned into a bright tapestry.
Common heather
Plant heather, care which is relatively uncomplicated, needs conditions that are close to their natural habitat. So, flowers need acidic soil, a sunny location and abundant watering.
You should be especially careful heather care after landing. During this period, the plant urgently needs a sufficient amount of moisture. If you live in a region with fairly cold winters, your heather will likely need additional cover.
The flower also responds well to mulching with crushed bark, leaf humus, pine needles or sawdust. Such mulch not only slightly acidifies the soil, but also suppresses the growth of weeds, retains moisture in the soil and protects the roots from sultry heat and extreme cold.
No less popular now indoor heather. When growing it, it is important not to allow the substrate to dry out. In summer, the flower pot can be taken outside.Water the plant with soft, settled water.
