The most dangerous pest of eggplants is aphid. It appears on stems, leaves, flowers, and feeds on plant sap. To combat aphids, plants are treated with quickly decomposing insecticides (karbofos or keltan). Eggplants are sprayed before and after flowering. During the fruiting period, eggplants cannot be processed. You can also use a solution from a glass wood ash, glasses tobacco dust with hot water, which is infused for 24 hours. Before spraying, the solution is stirred, filtered and a tablespoon of regular liquid soap is added. Eggplants are sprayed in the morning from a sprayer.

Spider mite sucks juice from eggplant leaves. The leaves become spottedand then dry up. The yield is significantly reduced. Spider mites reproduce quite quickly. To combat it, prepare a solution from garlic or onion with dandelion leaves, a tablespoon of liquid soap. The mixture is diluted in water, filtered and sprayed on the plants.
