Proper care of Uzambara violet

Usambara violet (Saintpaulia) is an amazingly beautiful plant with velvety leaves and delicate lace flowers.
Caring for Uzambara violet, like any other, requires very careful care, since the plant needs special growing conditions.
Violets are placed in a place with diffused light; a window sill or table next to the window is suitable for this. The flower does not tolerate either direct sunlight or shaded areas. In order for the plant to grow evenly, without stretching to one side, it must be rotate periodically around its axis.
If there is insufficient lighting, you can use a fluorescent lamp. The full lighting regime for violets is 10-12 hours a day, otherwise it will not bloom, or flowering will be sparse.
Caring for Uzambara violet includes ensuring a certain temperature regime - 20-22 degrees C, with a complete absence of drafts.
Moderate watering soft, settled water 2 times a week. When watering, you must try to prevent water from getting on the leaves.
Violets are quite demanding on air humidity, so periodically it is necessary to spray water in the immediate vicinity of the plant or place a tub of wet moss nearby.
Uzambara violet is replanted once a year in the spring, and in the presence of artificial lighting at any time of the year. During plant transplantation can't go too deep, but surface landing is also incorrect.The plant's growing point should be level with the ground. When replanting, 1/5 of the height of the pot should be filled with drainage material.
At home, Uzambara violet reproduces well by cutting leaves, which can be rooted both in the ground and in water.
