When to plant cucumbers in the ground

Everyone loves cucumbers. In the summer, they are the first vegetable to appear on our table, and in the winter, pickled or salted, they are a must at any feast. Every gardener or summer resident wants his harvest to be the best. But like every plant, cucumbers require care. When to plant cucumbers in the ground for a successful harvest? With the right approach and care, you can harvest cucumbers from the beginning of June to the end of September. Early cucumbers can be obtained by planting seeds in pots in early March. At the end of March, the emerged seedlings need to be transplanted into the ground in a greenhouse. Cucumbers do not tolerate transplantation well, so you need to grow seedlings not in a box, but in peat pots. This way the grown seedlings will be less exposed to pests.
At the beginning of May, when daily temperature fluctuations are no longer so sharp, you can sow the seeds in open ground. Be sure to not forget about watering and maintaining high soil and air humidity. And to get late cucumbers for pickling, they can be planted in July.
Using this method and knowing when to plant cucumbers in the ground, you can eat delicious cucumbers, fresh or canned, all year round.
