Feeding pepper seedlings

Feeding is of great importance in the process of growing healthy, viable seedlings. Feeding pepper seedlings in the early stages of growth will allow you to get a rich harvest in the summer.
So, after 1-2 “real” leaves appear, it is time to carry out the first feeding of pepper seedlings. To do this, 0.5 g of ammonium nitrate, 3 g of superphosphate, 1 g of potassium fertilizers are diluted in 1 liter of water, preferably settled. Two weeks later, a second fertilizing is done; the composition of the fertilizer is the same, but the dose of each ingredient must be doubled. Immediately before transplanting the seedlings into the ground, the last fertilizing is carried out, with up to 8 g of potassium fertilizers per 1 liter of water.
If you are a fan of organic fertilizers, then we can recommend using wood ash and nettle infusion (1:10) to feed pepper seedlings. For slowly growing seedlings, it is recommended to use an infusion of sleeping tea leaves (one glass of sleeping tea leaves is poured into 3 liters of hot water, after 5 days the solution must be filtered and used for watering).
To avoid one of the most common diseases of pepper seedlings, blackleg, it is recommended to water and fertilize in the morning with water at room temperature.
