Caring for indoor oxalis
Preferably brightly lit place with diffused sunlight. It tolerates shade normally, but in a very dark place the attractiveness of the leaves is lost. Direct sunlight causes burns.
Does not require the creation of a special temperature regime. Grows well at room temperature. In winter it should be at least 16 - 18 degrees plus. And those species in which the ground part dies off during the wintering period, it is better to place them in a room with a temperature of 12 - 14 degrees Celsius.
In summer, it requires abundant watering. At the same time, you should not allow water to stagnate in the pot, since sorrel is very sensitive to it. It's better not to top up than to overfill. In autumn, watering is gradually reduced, and in winter the soil is kept slightly moist. Some species go dormant during the winter. They should be placed in a cool place and watering should be stopped. And when the first shoots appear, transplant them into new soil. Flowering will begin in 1 - 1.5 months.
For feeding use mineral fertilizers in the active growth phase.
Soil for oxalis: turf and deciduous soil, humus and sand are taken in equal parts. Place pebbles at the bottom to prevent the roots from rotting. Young plants are replanted every year, and subsequently after 2-3 years.
