How to plant radishes? A few simple rules

Radishes are the first summer vegetable you can enjoy already at the beginning of June, or even at the end of May. Probably, there is hardly at least one person who would not like the variety of salads that can be prepared from this vegetable. Therefore, every gardener who has even the tiniest plot at his disposal asks the question: how to plant radishes.
So how to plant radishes? This crop is extremely cold-resistant, so it can be sown as early as mid-April, and in warm southern regions even at the end of March. At the same time, radishes have a fairly short growing season: the harvest ripens in literally three to four weeks after planting (however, this applies only to round varieties, while long ones ripen in 30-40 days). In this case, radishes can be planted in several stages - in spring and early summer, until mid-June, and at the end of July - early August. However, it is worth considering that summer planting is possible only at low air temperatures, since radishes do not tolerate heat well.
The seeds of this crop should be sown in low beds (or better yet, on areas planned slightly below soil level) so that the plants are located in rows at a distance of at least five to ten centimeters from each other. The planted seeds must be covered with a small layer of soil and watered after a while.Further care of the plant consists of regular weeding and loosening of the soil, abundant watering and protection from pests, in particular the garden flea.
