Parsley

Despite its Mediterranean origin, parsley has taken root well in Russian latitudes. It is grown in almost every garden. The plant is valued for its taste and medicinal qualities. Thus, parsley helps improve vision, kidney function, cardiovascular system, etc.

There are two types of parsley grown in gardens: root and leaf.

Common leaf parsley is only suitable for producing juicy and aromatic greens. But the root varieties (Sugar and Urozhaynaya) are used to collect both roots and greens. It is also noteworthy that parsley can be grown even in a room, provided the right conditions are provided.

Seeds should be planted in autumn (October) or spring (April).

Like carrots, parsley seeds germinate slowly, so it is recommended to soak them first, but this is only permissible for spring planting. You can learn about other requirements for caring for and growing plants in this section.
