When growing lobelia, the main problems are watering and lack of light. If there is a lack of these factors, the shoots become moldy, and if there is an excess, they dry out. During this period, you should not use fertilizing, as it is destructive for babies.

Lobelia is planted in the ground in the spring, when the threat of night frosts has passed. With proper watering and care, the first flowers will appear in early summer. The place for planting should be semi-shaded, the soil should be fertile and moist. The plant loves abundant watering, so it is advisable to add sphagnum to the soil.

During the dry season, watering should be done in the morning and evening. Due to lack of moisture, the plant may stop flowering. During the summer season, fertilizing is added 2-3 times.
