How can planting cucumbers in a greenhouse be different? It must be remembered that the greenhouse is much easier to disinfect. It is easier to landscape and you can grow a large amount of product. But you need to be careful not to poison the cucumbers.
How to plant cucumbers in a greenhouse
The greenhouse needs to be disinfected. Autumn is chosen for this. You need a solution of 10 liters of water and 1 tablet of the Inta-Vir type, as well as 2 tablets of the Oxychom type. Consumption will be 10 liters per 15-20 m2.
In the spring, in April, soil preparation takes place. It is made from a mixture:
- regarding humus and peat, turf soil and ordinary sawdust;
- six parts of peat, taken with 2 parts of humus and the same sawdust;
- two parts of turf type soil, 3 parts each of peat, humus and again part of sawdust;
- five parts of turf-type soil and peat, possibly humus.
Then the blanks are brought in and beds are made in the greenhouse - their width should be 80 cm, height 35 cm. You also need to leave a passage between them - about 60-70 cm. Then fertilizers are spread over the beds. Calculation per 1 m2: table. lie potassium sulfate, 1 teaspoon. lie urea and 1 table. lie superphosphate, a glass of wood ash or deoxidizer. The ridges will need to be moved to a depth of about 15-20 cm. They must be watered with a strained solution. It is made from 10 liters of 70 degree hot water, half a liter of liquid mullein (you can take 1 cup of bird droppings) and 1 teaspoon. lie copper sulfate, take a consumption of 5 liters for each 1 m2.
When watering is done, the sprouts are covered with film. This is done 6 days after watering. This is how cucumbers are planted in a greenhouse.
