In my homeland, all housewives consider the most valuable remains of bright blue fabrics and ribbons: all the trees in the gardens, bushes and even rows of strawberries are hung with blue garlands with ends fluttering in the wind. I don’t know why birds are scared off by the blue color, but the harvest was saved.
