Caring for strawberries after winter

Strawberries are a capricious plant, they are very demanding of the soil, and once established strawberry seedlings literally suck all of its useful components out of the soil in 2-4 years.

In the spring, after the snow has melted, the strawberry bed should be loosened and soil should be raked onto the strawberry roots. If the strawberry beds were covered with straw, then the straw needs to be moved and the berry bushes allowed to grow.
In the spring, you should feed the strawberries with fertilizers, the best thing is humus. You also need to ensure that the root system does not dry out. Strawberry beds should be watered regularly, weeds should be removed so that there are fewer weeds, the strawberry bed can be planted under black film.
