Tomatoes in a greenhouse

It is difficult to imagine a summer table without tomatoes now, but relatively recently Europeans did not know about this crop, or used it only as an ornamental plant. Many would like to start breeding them, but a lot of questions immediately arise. Perhaps they should watch the step-by-step video of growing tomatoes in a greenhouse, starting from germinating seeds, planting seedlings, and forming a stem with developed flower clusters.

What points should be taken into account when growing tomatoes?

Firstly, it is worth planting seedlings at the end of April, beginning of May; in order to avoid freezing, it is advisable to cover the greenhouse with a double layer of film. If you wait for stable warm weather, then a full-fledged harvest simply will not have time to ripen. Tomatoes love warmth, good watering, but not very high humidity.

Ideal conditions are daytime temperature 20-25 degrees, night temperature 12-14, it is worth watering after transplanting the seedlings after 10-14 days, then once every 5-6 days, be sure to ventilate the greenhouse to prevent condensation from forming. If the rules of care are not followed, the plant may begin to grow (as they say, fatten), or the flowers and fruits will set poorly or simply fall off.

After the flowers appear, the tomato needs to be pollinated, usually by shaking the branches. Well, if you plan to attract insects to this, place or hang sugar syrup or a jar of honey at the entrance to the greenhouse to attract them.

If everything is done as needed, then soon your sweet, thin-skinned tomatoes will appear on the table, and the cellar will be filled with jars of them, but already pickled.

Imagine how pleasant it will be to watch your notes on growing tomatoes in a greenhouse on video, enjoying the results of these efforts!
