Such raspberries are mainly planted in the fall, they do not suffer in winter (they easily tolerate winter), and in the spring they already begin to bloom and can be harvested very quickly; the same process is monitored next spring. And at this stage, her life span ends.This, of course, is not very pleasing, but always where there are huge advantages there are also disadvantages.

  2. Do not forget that there are different varieties and each of them requires special care, but this does not mean that it is very fragile and any weather conditions can affect it. In general, such raspberries easily tolerate winters, only some of them need additional insulation.
  3. In order to increase productivity raspberries, use agrotechnical techniques. The bottom line is that in early spring or autumn in the first year, a part of the bush in the center is carefully removed, and then new shoots will grow, which increase the number of berries.

«Yellow giant“- this yellow berry is considered one of the largest, even the name says so. Raspberries of this type occupy one of the first places in terms of yield, but only if all the conditions of correct agricultural technology are observed.
Berries of this type reach the size of a walnut. Plants of the variety grow in bushes and reach a height of up to 2.5 meters. In the fall, the tops of the plant are cut off to get a richer harvest next year. Raspberries do not need to be covered for the winter, as the plants are not afraid of frost.
"Mirage" - they have medium-sized berries. Easy to grow as the weather generally does not affect the plant's yield. "Raspberry tree" is a very beautiful plant with a height of 1.8 meters. The plant has smooth leaves and no thorns at all. Medium-sized berries are located very close to each other, this is especially observed at the tops. Danger may come from cold and prolonged rains.
“Cardinal” - the berries of this variety are quite large, the length of some berries reaches up to 10 centimeters. It is red in color, but the berries themselves are not very sweet. But there is one problem, which is the small harvest.

I really love this berry. I never thought there were so many varieties of raspberries.We grow two varieties, some of the berries are small, others are much larger. What is noteworthy is that the smaller ones are always sweet, while the larger ones are different, but more often with sourness.

On my site there are bushes of both remontant and regular raspberries. The remontant one is, of course, larger and from the bush, although they are smaller in size, I collect more, but it tolerates winter worse.
