Yellow strawberry

Any garden today is unthinkable without such a berry crop as strawberries. Many grow varieties of different ripening periods and remontant varieties. And here yellow strawberry is still rare. This variety, called "Yellow Miracle", was developed by Dutch breeders. The berries have a delicate aroma and amazing taste, almost melting in your mouth. This strawberry belongs to remontant varieties. Its first harvest ripens approximately at the same time as the red varieties of medium ripening, and the second - in August September. You can make wonderful jam, jelly, and compotes from this berry. But it’s tastier and healthier, of course, to eat it fresh.

Caring for yellow strawberries is practically no different from the usual care for remontant berries. This variety gives a lot of mustaches and easily reproduces with their help. But if you have nowhere to get the mustache, you will have to first grow the berry from seeds, which, of course, requires certain knowledge. The seeds of any strawberry are very small, they cannot be embedded in the soil, you just need to spread it over its surface and cover it with glass or polyethylene, creating a mini-greenhouse. To prevent water from washing away the seeds, they are not watered before germination, but only sprayed with a spray bottle.

This variety resistant to most diseases and pests. It also easily tolerates winter frosts and can grow in sun or partial shade. Only ants can ruin your harvest, accurately choosing the ripest and most beautiful berries.Yellow strawberries have compact and low-growing bushes; each peduncle produces up to 10 medium-sized berries, first greenish-white in color, and then amber-yellow. The wonderful aroma of ripening berries can be felt already 6 meters from the garden bed.
