Royal begonia in photos and in life

The most famous representative of rhizomatous begonias is the royal begonia. And this is not surprising. Royal begonia in the photo, which have recently often appeared in glossy magazines, looks simply stunning, captivating with brightly colored leaves.
Royal begonia is an unpretentious plant. There is no need to create any specific conditions for it - it feels quite comfortable both on the windowsill and in the winter garden. If only the plant was light and warm.
But, like other begonias, royal begonia does not really like direct sunlight, preferring partial shade. She will not be happy with drafts, heat from heating devices and direct spraying, although she prefers humid air - 50-60%. Therefore, experienced gardeners use indirect spray method, splashing around the plant, trying not to get on the leaves. And, even better, place wet pebbles near the begonia.
Watering plants should be carried out with warm, settled water, while observing moderation. You should not allow the presence of water in the pot, but you should make sure that the soil does not dry out. In addition, in the summer, it would be a good idea to feed the begonia with universal complex fertilizer.
Reproduces royal begonia cuttings. To do this, cut off a leaf from the plant, place it cut side down on wet sand and fix it well (you can just use water instead of sand). After some time, a small plant will appear, which must be replanted after it has at least three leaves.
There is one more secret, if followed, any begonia will look like the royal begonia in the photo. This plant does not like to be moved frequently. For the correct formation of the bush, the begonia only needs to be turned periodically.
