Tree wormwood. Interesting and useful

Artemisia tree (Latin name Artemisia arborescens) is a tall bush with pinnate, split leaves. It can be green or grayish-blue, like the beard of a gray old man. Due to its color and openwork shape of the leaves it is interesting even without flowers. Wormwood is widespread throughout Europe and beyond, mainly due to its flexible “character”.
Unpretentious, lush wormwood bush many gardeners will like it. It grows well and is easy to propagate by cuttings. Having fallen to the ground, the branch quickly takes root. It prefers poor soil, with sand and gravel.
If you want your plant to look beautiful, you need to shape it, trim it. Wormwood can grow up to one and a half meters in height, but if there is no support, the bush will fall apart. This is a good hedge, a backdrop for brighter, flowering garden crops.
Wormwood loves sun more than shade. She practically does not need to be looked after. Even water it rarely. Thanks to essential oils it repels most insects, and is not affected by diseases and pests. Sometimes the bush even grows too much and the rhizome needs to be pruned so that there is room on the site for other representatives of the flora.
This tree-like plant also has healing properties. Traditional medicine uses it in the fight against worms, for stomach pain (excess acid), to strengthen hair and normalize the menstrual cycle.
In some countries wormwood used as a spice, seasoning individual dishes with it. But the dosage is important here, since the plant has a specific taste.
