Wisteria indoors - a plant of a warm climate and it can be planted in the ground at a certain microclimate of the site, on the sunny side, completely protected from the wind.

It would be ideal to grow wisteria container way, with the formation in the form of a tree. They are not taken outside until June. The container in which indoor wisteria is planted should not be taken “for growth.” This beauty has a small root system, so in a large pot it will only grow green mass without blooming.

Indoor wisteria loves open air in summer; the temperature in winter needs to be quite cool - 6-8 degrees. Until mid-January it can be placed in the basement, then, moving to warmer places, around the end of February it is placed in an ordinary room. Keeping wisteria in a warm room in winter can cause its death.

Indoor wisteria is photophilous and loves direct sun.
. If you place the plant on a south-facing window at the end of winter, it will bloom quickly; after a short break, by the end of summer it will bloom again, but with fewer flowers.

The soil should always be kept slightly moist. From spring to autumn, watering is moderate; excess moisture is harmful. In winter, watering is very rare.

They feed
once a week during budding and flowering with fertilizer for indoor plants.

Soil for wisteria is used in a mixture of 3 parts clay-turf and 1 part humus, leaf soil and sand.Only young plants are replanted annually; old adult wisteria can be replanted after a few years. Side branches are pruned in July, this stimulates better formation of flower buds.

Reproduce wisteria in early spring by cuttings and layering.
