Apple tree varieties

I wondered what varieties of apple trees to plant in my dacha. I would like to plant early and late apple trees, so that they are sweet and strong, so that late apples can be stored longer. What can you recommend?

Among the early ripening varieties, White filling and Melba are good. Of the later ones - of course Antonovka, Bogatyr. Just remember that an apple tree is a tree that requires good care - constant watering, pruning, protection from pests. As a rule, with periodic care the apple tree brings a good harvest.

I don’t really like Antonovka, it’s a little sour, although it keeps really well. Of the early varieties, I like ranetki, although they are small, they are very juicy and can be stored in winter.

Antonovka - yes, this is a very tasty variety of apple trees that can be stored well. For example, I wrap every apple in newspaper for the winter. Of course, it takes a lot of time, but apples retain their freshness and taste for a very long time.

I love Semerinka - the best variety of apple tree for my personal taste. On the one hand they have sweetness, and on the other hand they are a little sour. At the same time, the combination of acid and sugar is optimal and these apples are stored until spring.

Yes, semenka tastes one of the best. When I visited Ukraine as a child, I simply gorged myself on these apples. You can't buy such deliciousness in a store. And the White filling also sank into my soul; in 2013, in the Volga region, I bought buckets of it at the market. Fairy apple!

I don’t really like Antonovka. But since childhood I have loved the ranetka, although it recently had to be cut down, since the tree was very old and began to bear little fruit. But from those that are stored for a long time, I choose Moscow winter, its fruits can be stored until April.

The following varieties grow in my garden, I list them as they ripen: White filling, Glory to the winners, Lafam, Golden Delicious and Star Crimson. Since the end of June, I have always been with apples. The first 2 are sour, the rest are very sweet.

I love Idared - this is such an autumn variety of apples. And the apple is beautiful and its taste is sweet and sour. Unfortunately, our plot is small now and several varieties of apples do not fit on it, but I still planted my favorite one.

Idared apples are delicious, but this variety of apple trees is very capricious. With great difficulty they take root in central Russia. At my dacha everything is prosaic. White filling and Antonovka. There are also problems with them, but in comparison with other varieties they can be considered as non-existent.

A very good early variety is Melba. Late varieties in our garden are Semerenko and Jonathan. Late varieties, very shelf-stable and in a cool cellar, are well preserved until May of next year.

Antonovka grows in our garden, but I don’t like this variety of apples, I only add it to adjika. I still prefer sweet apples.

The earliest apples of the White filling variety. It seems to me that everyone loves them, since they are the first and long-awaited after winter.Of the later ones, I like Snow Calvil, they last a long time and have a neutral taste, not sour and not cloyingly sweet, quite dense.

It depends where else you live. I live in a cool climate, so I can’t really boast about the varieties. There is Melba, White filling, Bashkir beauty, and she also planted a columnar apple tree.

We also have a summer variety called Melba, and winter varieties are Jonathan and Simirenko. Our plot is small, so there are only three apple trees. The harvest is enough for us to eat in the summer and store apples in the basement until spring.
