Growing greens at home in winter: containers, lighting and care

I want to grow greens right in the house, and then seedlings - there is a small room for these purposes, but the lighting there is dim (shadow side). Tell me, do I need to install additional lighting specifically? I would be grateful for advice.

Zinderra, light is necessary for the normal development of any plant. If your room has dim lighting, do not expect good results - the harvest will be meager! As for containers, I can recommend a good manufacturer of seedling pots:

Buy a regular fluorescent lamp for a 36W lamp (length 1.2 meters) and put in it a plant lamp of the Fluora type manufactured by Osram or the same format from another manufacturer. And it will be light and it will have a positive effect on the harvest.

There are special phytolamps for additional illumination of plants. But they cost a lot. Lamps for herbal aquariums are good for illumination - their spectrum is specially designed for the rapid growth of any vegetation.
