Gardening tools or what a gardener needs to buy.
It is difficult to imagine a gardener or gardener without the necessary gardening tools. The main selection criterion is the price of a particular tool, its durability, reliability and ease of use. I wanted to find out who uses what, who has what preferences. There are a lot of equipment and tools. For example, there are twisted, pin and sliding rakes. There are saps with handles, without handles, there are large hoes and a bunch of different ones. There are various small hand tools in the form of combined hoes and rippers, small spatulas. And also all this is divided into different sizes and companies (pricing policy). So I wanted to find out who uses what and who likes what more. Consult and discuss.
I look forward to your advice, opinions and suggestions.
I don’t have anything fancy, everything is Soviet. Back then there was no equipment with all sorts of frills, everything was just durable. Even my shovel shafts are intact. This tree is just a tree. And the metal is hardened, real.
I don’t have half of what you described. A standard set of garden tools. Shovels, rakes of various types, a couple of hoes and a certain amount of hand tools such as pruners and spades.
We have the following garden tools - a pair of bayonet shovels, a pair of rakes of different widths, two hoes, two small hoes combined with a ripper, several buckets, pruning shears, a saw and a hand sprayer. This tool is enough for two people to work in the garden.
This is a necessary thing, thank you.
I have a large flower garden, so most often I use a small spatula, for example, for planting annuals, and a not very wide rake with a small handle. Also, you definitely need sharp pruning shears; almost all crops need to be trimmed and thinned.
Judging by the lack of shovels in your garden tool kit, you don’t have a garden. I want to add a pitchfork to my tools; they are convenient for digging potatoes, and carrots too.
