Sprayer for the garden
Hello everyone, can you recommend a sprayer for your dacha? There is a mechanical one, but we are not very happy, we first bought a small one, and then got one for 10 liters, but it is not at all pleasing in the sense that it takes a very long time to spray.
What sprayer do you use? I would like the volume to be more than 10 liters, otherwise we are sorely lacking.
I used to use a Zhuk sprayer, it was budget-friendly, but completely inconvenient, the pressure was weak and it lasted for a season. I took a petrol Echo for the vineyard and trees, convenient, fast, 17 liter tank.
Suitable for my garden, the pressure is enough to process all the trees. Do you have a large garden? Are there trees?
Yes, there is a large plot and a vegetable garden, there is enough of everything. There is still a greenhouse, it also needs to be treated, there is enough work, that’s why we are thinking about buying a smart sprayer. Please write what your model is called, I’ll look at the technical specifications, how long ago did you buy it?
The sprayer model is SHR-170SI ECHO, it is backpack-mounted and easy to use. I think you will quickly understand the instructions. I like the functionality and can definitely recommend it, because... I am already pleased with the performance of the sprayer.
Folks, has anyone used battery sprayers? I have a pump-action one, but it's a hassle with it. I want to take a backpack, but not a gasoline one. They are heavy, even if the tank is half empty. The battery-powered one seems to be lighter, what do you think? Can anyone recommend a specific model?
A backpack one is definitely more convenient, and if you have an area of less than a few hectares, then a battery-powered one is quite suitable. To recommend a specific model, you need to know how many liters you want. I can recommend the brand, I use Champion myself, I have SA16 for 16 liters. There are also smaller ones. Well, in general, look, if it’s difficult, then you can simply collect a less than full tank of solution.
We have a battery-powered sprayer. If you compare it with the manual one that was previously used, then this is heaven and earth. Saves a lot of effort and time.
At my dacha I have a regular 12-liter backpack sprayer. It takes about three hours to process a plot of 21 acres. But such work as such is rarely performed, so I don’t see the point in other options.
I have two sprayers, one like a bicycle pump with two nozzles, and the other like a backpack with a sealed container. There, a pump creates air pressure and through a fishing rod, with a sprayer nozzle, you can process fruit trees and a vegetable garden - it’s convenient.
