This is the first time I’ve heard about such a new hobby among people. Judging by the photos of how they look, I would never have such a miracle in my home.
My friend has a couple of these snails.
In my opinion, it’s worth starting only because you can sell it to small children.

I froze my snails. They started renovating the house and I took my snails out onto the balcony. Then they ran around and got so tired that in the end I forgot about them and they happily died from hypothermia in the fall.
To be honest, they were given to me, and I was not particularly happy about these living creatures in the house. They're really boring.
To be honest, it’s not in my nature to have such animals in the house. Can you imagine, they will crawl everywhere around you. I understand getting a turtle, but not snails.
Ordinary snails used to make me disgusted, but I liked the Achatina. They are large, with a beautiful shell.It’s easy to keep at home: an aquarium is enough, no special food is needed: snails eat vegetables, herbs, and fruits. But I won’t get one for myself, I like cats!
And what's so cute about them? The walls of the aquarium are covered with mucus, there is an unpleasant smell from the wet coconut substrate, and these snails shit no worse than a full-fledged hamster in this wet soil.
