We have three pots at work in which Dieffenbachia is planted. This is a fairly large plant with large leaves, spotted like a giraffe. But its leaves grow only on the top of its head, it looks simply disgraceful - like some kind of disease. How to make Dieffenbachia fluff? Whatever it was like in the picture.
The easiest option is to pin the top. But I know that there are varieties of Dieffenbachia that grow with a trunk and not a bush. You can also add roots to a plant in a pot, and then you will have a whole bush.
That's right, our Dieffenbachia looks more like some kind of palm tree - a long trunk and on the top of its head there are five, I even counted, leaves. It looks terrible!
I simply transplanted the Dieffenbachia into a larger pot, it fluffed up and even bloomed. I don’t know why the flowering is so late; it should begin in the spring.

It turned out to be a kind of bush. But I didn't really like how slowly it grew. It's better to be tall than short. In the photo the plant looks very good.
All plants that stretch upward and shed leaves need additional lighting. Try planting the plant again and placing it in a brighter place. You also need to remember about additional spraying.
When my Dieffenbachias get very tall, I cut them back into the water, and a new plant grows from the stump. Sometimes, if the trunk is very bare, then I cut the cut shoot into several parts and give them all the roots. You can then also plant them in a pot with a stump from the mother plant.
I would rejuvenate your plant. break off the top, root and plant. You will get a new beautiful flower, but don’t throw away the old one either. A new shoot will also begin to grow from it. Just now try placing the pots in a brighter place in the room.
