When should you plant irises?
2 years have already passed and my iris bush has grown quite a lot, but is it worth planting it into 2 - 3 parts? Will the new generation then be weak?

Of course, seat them! on the contrary, it will be easier for the plant if the children are separated from it. And the children themselves will be much better off. It is best to plant irises immediately after they bloom.
From personal experience I can say that irises tolerate transplantation very well, the most important thing is not to bury the tuber, otherwise they will not bloom, the tuber should be almost on the surface
Just the optimal age for transplantation
It's already September. I will seat her, but I’m afraid that the baby won’t like it, since it’s already cold. Maybe there will be another week of warmth and a good day for transplanting.
Irises tolerate transplantation well and reproduce quickly. And caring for irises is very easy, since they are not at all whimsical.
When is the best time to plant this flower? I read that somewhere in a month is the time, I would like your opinion?
We planted, the first generation died, and then new shoots appeared
Irises must be planted. Otherwise, the bush will shred and eventually die. It’s better, of course, closer to autumn, when they don’t bloom, but it’s also possible during flowering. I look at the condition of the bush. If it lasts until autumn, then I don’t touch it.
