Chinchillas are very cute little animals. Our relatives had two - a boy and a girl. But they did not live long at all - they both fell ill and died. The child had a lot of tears! Now we got a cat - it’s much calmer and you can enjoy it much longer
A cat can also get sick (mine was close to death 4 times, but I saved her)... You just need to be prepared for additional expenses and find a good doctor for your pet.
Personally, I was very lucky in this regard. But before that, she was badly burned at a private clinic, which not only siphoned off money, but almost brought the cat to death.
I know that chinchillas are very nocturnal, and they chew on everything, and they also need a boy; in a pair they are more fun, but also noisier. My sister really wanted it, but I barely talked her out of it. But they are really wonderful, for example, like hamsters, they don’t get bored and don’t get bored...
Chinchilla? well, so-so: they don’t show any emotions
