What natural fertilizers do you use?
I heard that you can use a decoction of onion peels as a fertilizer for flowers. I haven't tried it yet, but I intend to.
What other ways do you know to naturally feed plants? Just please indicate on which colors your technique was successfully tested.
I fed my rosette with sand from below and a little from above! It’s completely easy to find - the only main thing is that you need to add dry sand!
To be honest, I don’t fertilize my flowers with natural products. I just buy specially suitable fertilizers in the store and use them. I heard that you can boil banana peels and then pour it over it.
I have parrots at home. I breed their litter and water all the flowers 2 times a month. And they really smell fragrant to me. I have been using this method for many years and am not going to buy any chemicals.
Sometimes, when we buy expired glucose, we gradually add it to the water for irrigation. Our friends advised us to fertilize flowers this way. I don’t know how useful it is, but the plants grow well.
I also only know about tea leaves.
I lived in Uzbekistan for some time, where it’s generally number one. Absolutely everything is fertilized using this method. And the flowers, most importantly, have already gotten used to it and are blooming))
A good supplement is tea leaves. It makes the soil looser, which allows the plant to receive more moisture and oxygen. Just don’t add too much of it.
Yeast mixture is a growth stimulator. If the plant does not want to grow, you can dilute 10 g of yeast with a glass of warm water and add 3 tbsp. boats with clean water into the plant or the entire glass, if it is a garden flower.
I don’t fertilize houseplants with anything other than tea leaves. The main thing is that the brew is not sweet, otherwise God knows what will start to start.
Oh, but somehow the tea leaves didn’t work for me, there are small white midges, I think they’re called springtails, and you can’t get rid of them, you have to replant the cuttings from the flower and change the soil.
As natural fertilizers, I use only ash and humus or forest soil. But all kinds of “manure” are completely unsuitable for the home
Humus, well, ashes will do
For feeding I use vermicompost. It’s also very good to water flowers with mineral water; I take local water from a source, it contains a lot of microelements. If you take it store-bought, but not carbonated.
The tea leaves should be used for non-sweet tea, then there will be no midges. I sometimes water the flowers with the water in which the eggs were boiled, it is rich in minerals. I mostly try to buy ready-made fertilizers, they are more useful.
In fact, there is no need to take integrals. At our home we use ready-made fertilizer, which is packaged in plastic. And we feed the plants according to the instructions. This is very, very important.
