Lavender

Thanks to the well-known song, many people believe that lavender is an exclusively mountain flower. However, its high decorative qualities and incredibly thin, elegant armature are worthy of growing the plant in the garden. This section of our website contains a detailed description of all the requirements for growing, caring for and planting lavender.

Like any other plant, growing lavender has its own nuances, but, in general, it can be called an unpretentious garden crop. The landing site should be well lit, preferably on the sunny side. As a mountain flower, lavender loves moisture and needs abundant watering in the summer heat. But the plant does not grow in acidic soils; loamy or sandy loam soils are better suited.

One of the important conditions for care is pruning after each flowering. Due to this, flowers will appear throughout the warm season. By planting lavender seeds along the edge of the garden path, over time you will get a bright flower border about half a meter high. Don’t forget about the wonderful aromatherapy qualities of lavender: it helps in the fight against migraines and headaches, speeds up the healing of wounds, fights depression, etc.
