Clematis
Beautiful and unpretentious flowers are the dream of any gardener. That is why clematis can increasingly be found in gardens and vegetable gardens. The climbing plant was brought from Japan and has since been successfully grown in our country. Thanks to clematis, arches, trellises and other supports are covered with a carpet of bright flowers resembling an eight-pointed star in shape.
Depending on the variety of clematis, care may vary. Standard care is watering and annual pruning. In order for the plant to gain strength and the number of shoots to increase significantly, it is necessary to trim clematis of any variety very low in the first year of planting. In subsequent years, the size of the remaining stem will depend on the plant variety.
After pruning the clematis and preparing for the cold period is required, you should not cover them tightly with greenhouse film. Air access is required! Otherwise, the plant will begin to rot and will either freeze or rot.
