As with white cabbage, growing kohlrabi requires the usual. It begins with planting seeds for seedlings. The first sowing is carried out in mid-March, and planting in the ground in early May. With proper care, the fruits will be ready for consumption in early June. The second sowing of seeds is carried out in early May and a month later the seedlings are planted in open ground. A third sowing can also be carried out at the end of June. As in the second sowing, the seedlings will be ready for planting in a month, and the fruits will ripen by the beginning of October.
Under the right growing conditions, you will appreciate the beneficial properties of kohlrabi cabbage and learn a lot about its taste. For food use, it is better to consume young plants. They are added to salads, stewed, fried, etc.
